The Service Management Connector needs a valid license file before the service can start. The license file is send by e-mail to the contact person of your organization.

The license file needs to be named License.lic.

It is required to store the file in the installation folder of the Connector. The default folder is: C:\Program Files (x86)\The Backbone\Service Management Connector.
Follow the steps below to place the license file:

• Copy the license file from the e-mail that has been sent
• Open a Windows Explorer window and navigate to the installation folder
• Paste the license file (License.lic) in the folder
• Verify the name of the license file is correct. The name should always be License.lic
